Banksia Flower Australian Native Wild and Beautiful Photos

Banksia Flower - Banksia integrifolia or Coastal Banksia is coming into flower all over the Mornington Peninsula at the moment.

The regular form is the iconic tree that grows along the beachfront to about 20 meters but we have two other forms that are both very popular. BanksiaSentinal grows to about 2 1/2 meters tall by just a meter wide it is denser and makes a great #screen. Banksia #RollerCoaster is a prostrate form with an interesting rolling habit.
All three forms have the same foliage and flowers and a great for the birds and the bees. Save The Bees

Banksia integrifolia 'Green Cape' dwarf. Note that although this plant is said to be dwarf, this particular specimen would be well over 2m high and wide now, at approximately 5 years old. — in Cobains, Victoria, Australia.

Banksia integrifolia growing in Royal National Park, south of Sydney. I am a big fan of this small tree, it is drought tolerant and a good bird attractor
